Sussex County is outvoting the rest of Delaware so far — and it isn't close.
The Department of Elections updated its counts Tuesday at 3:13 PM: 75,678 early in-person votes cast, plus 16,622 absentee ballots — 92,300 Delawareans have already voted. Combined early and absentee totals by county: Sussex County 44,792, New Castle County 33,704, Kent County 13,804.
The final early-voting stretch runs today through Sunday, Nov. 1, from 11 AM to 7 PM each day.
If you're voting absentee, your ballot must be received by 8 PM on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 3 — dropping it in the mail that day is too late.
Five days of early voting left, working folks. Make a plan to stop in.
