🚦 THREE NEW RED-LIGHT CAMERAS COMING TO SMYRNA

DelDOT is adding 15 red-light cameras across Delaware — and three of them are right here in Smyrna, all on Route 13:

• Duck Creek Road at the Route 1 ramps by the rest area
• The south Smyrna Route 1 ramps at Simon's Corner, by Wawa
• South Carter Road, across from Del-One Federal Credit Union

The program grows to 60 cameras statewide: 42 in New Castle County, 11 in Kent and 7 in Sussex. Smyrna police say these spots were picked from DelDOT crash data — Route 13 through Smyrna ranks among the worst for collisions.

The tickets are civil — no points on your license, no hit to your insurance — and each camera takes two photos of a violation.
