⚽ Police got called to a kids' soccer game in Florida on Saturday — over a 3-year-old.
Nevada is 3, playing up in a Winter Park i9 Sports league against 5-year-olds — and running circles around them. The family's video of the officers went viral — Dad: "They called the police on the 3-year-old 'cause he's too good."
The league tells it different. Director Thomas Hayes called 911 — admitting it's "not really an emergency" — asking officers to rush over, saying Nevada's mom was disruptive. On bodycam, Hayes calls the boy "great, really good," but says he pushed other kids and his parents made a scene when he was sat down.
Winter Park police released the tape and pushed back: "There was never any suggestion that the call to police was prompted over the child's on-field talent." Nobody was arrested. Police called it a civil matter, the family got a refund, and ex-U.S. national team player Eddie Johnson has offered to train the boy.
Too good for the league at 3. Florida, man.
