Kent wing. That's where investigators say the Lulu Ross Elementary fire started — and they've found no evidence of criminal activity.
We told you this morning about the fire that gutted Lulu Ross Elementary in Milford before dawn Sunday. The State Fire Marshal's office has now released its first findings: the fire originated in the school's Kent wing, the building took heavy damage, and nobody was hurt. What started it is still under investigation.
Ross Elementary stays closed all week, and Mispillion Elementary is closed today.
