BEST OF THE 302 — NOMINATIONS ARE OPEN

We're building Delaware's bracket the readers' way: you nominate, you vote, and every number gets published where everybody can see it.

Nominate in the comments — ONE favorite per comment (drop as many comments as you like; one name per comment keeps the count clean). Give us the name and the town: a local business, a place, a person, or a specific dish at a named spot, anywhere in the 302.

One rule on what counts: it has to be somewhere you can go, someone you can meet, or something you can order there. Products off an assembly line don't qualify — this one's for the living, local stuff.

Nominations close Friday, October 30 at 9:00 AM. The 16 most-nominated names make the bracket, and the full nomination counts get published when we seed it — all of them, no secrets.

Voting happens right in the comments, one vote per person per matchup, and every round's count runs in the open. Every matchup gets a real write-up of both sides, too — this is a story with a vote at the end, not a poll.
