A WOMAN OUT JOGGING WAS STRUCK AND KILLED BY A SEPTA TROLLEY IN WEST PHILADELPHIA MONDAY MORNING
This is the hard kind of news to pass along. On Monday morning, a woman who was out jogging was struck and killed by a SEPTA Route 13 trolley near Clark Park in West Philadelphia.
That is what we know — and right now, it's all we know. She has not been named in any report we've seen. No statement has come from Philadelphia Police or from SEPTA, and we're not going to fill in the blanks with guesses. Not about her, and not about how it happened.
When her name is released and officials say more, we'll update this post.
Somebody's family got the worst call there is this morning. Keep them in your thoughts, 302.
