💔 A Williamstown man was killed Thursday morning crossing Harding Highway in Hamilton Township.
Karl Hansen, 58, of Williamstown, was struck by a westbound Toyota Camry while crossing Harding Highway at Cantillon Boulevard, police say. He did not survive.
Police say Mr. Hansen was crossing the westbound lanes against the traffic light. The driver, Khadijah Pierce, 33, of Millville, stayed at the scene.
Harding Highway was closed for about three hours while the Hamilton Township Traffic Unit and the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office investigated. The investigation is ongoing.
Our condolences go to Mr. Hansen's family.
