A MONTHS-LONG INVESTIGATION ENDED WITH TWO RAIDS — AND 3,165 BAGS OF HEROIN AND FENTANYL OFF THE STREET.
New Castle County Police executed two search warrants on Sunday, October 11 — the 500 block of West 7th Street in New Castle and the 100 block of North DuPont Street in Wilmington — and arrested D'Andre Murphy.
Detectives say the searches turned up roughly 3,165 bags of heroin and fentanyl, 89 grams of crack cocaine, and a loaded .40-caliber handgun.
He faces two felony counts of possession with intent to deliver and is being held on $128,000 cash bail.
Every one of those bags was a funeral waiting to happen. It's off the street now.
